Actor Vikranth has been regularly acting in films post Suseenthiran directorial Pandiyanadu, and this year he has already had two releases, the Ramprakash Rayappa directorial Suttu Pidikka Utharavu and the Selvasekaran directorial Vennila Kabaddi Kuzhu 2.
Vikranth's third release of the year will be Bakrid, which is directed by Jagadeesan Subu who had earlier directed the Zee5 movie Sigai starring Kathir. Bakrid is produced by M10 productions and the movie has music scored by D Imman.
Recently it was announced that Bakrid will release worldwide on August 9, and now it has been made official that Bakrid has been censored clean U. The movie which revolves around the bonding between a camel and a human, and also stars Vasundhara Kashyap in an important role.
