Balakrishna's Bhagavanth Kesari is all set to hit the screens on October 19, 2023, just in time for Dasara. This film, directed by the talented Anil Ravipudi, showcases Balakrishna in an entirely new and exciting role. The anticipation is mounting as the film's makers are leaving no stone unturned to promote this cinematic extravaganza. At the pre-release event, Balakrishna delighted the audience by sharing some intriguing insights into the world of Bhagavanth Kesari.

The Spiritual Connection to Dasara:

My 108th film, Bhagavanth Kesari, coincidentally releases during Dasara, a festival I hold close to my heart. I've always had a deep devotion to Goddess Durga, and it's widely known that mantras are often recited 108 times. Just like how Dasara and Goddess Durga symbolize the power of women, Bhagavanth Kesari also pays tribute to woman power. In fact, you might have seen the powerful dialogue in the trailer: 'Banao Beti Ko Sher.'

Anil Ravipudi's Unique Vision:

Anil Ravipudi is a director I've been closely observing for some time now. He has an impressive track record of working on diverse genres, including films like 'Pataas,' which he directed for my brother's son, Kalyan Ram. He even remixed one of my songs. When he approached me with this unique story, we accepted it as a challenge. We invested a great deal of effort in perfecting my look, character, and accent to ensure that this film stands out.

Embracing Competition:

For me, competition is essential. It's what keeps us on our toes and ensures that we continually improve. However, I don't see it as competing with others; rather, I compete with myself. I constantly consider my fans and reflect on the roles I've portrayed in the past. We've worked diligently on various aspects, including the Navarasas, and all these elements will be brilliantly woven into Bhagavanth Kesari.

Acknowledging the Talent of the Technicians:

Thaman's background score in 'Akhanda' was thunderous, and he's undoubtedly a musical genius. The combination of direction, editing, and music plays a pivotal role in any film's success. Ram Prasad's cinematography in this movie is exceptional, adding to the visual appeal.

A Candid Remark on His Wig:

I wear a wig, and I'm not ashamed or concerned about it. There's no reason for others to be bothered if I choose to use a wig.

Praise for the Leading Ladies:

Kajal, a powerhouse of talent, is making a splendid comeback in this film. Her role is substantial, and I'm truly grateful to her for accepting it.

Sree Leela, a stunning actress, is a natural-born artist, and our scenes together hold an emotional depth that you've only glimpsed so far. Her pursuit of perfection in diverse roles is truly commendable, especially as a Telugu actress.

The Marvel of Arjun Rampal:

Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal has portrayed his role with an unmatched screen presence. His performance in the film might leave you questioning how a hero can confront a villain with a disability, but there's a lot more to his character than meets the eye. His dedication is evident in the fact that he dubbed for his own role, adding to the authenticity of his performance during his prime.

The Enigmatic Secrets of Bhagavanth Kesari:

Bhagavanth Kesari is akin to a slow-burning fuse that ultimately culminates in a breathtaking explosion. The film has multiple layers, including an intriguing additional persona that I won't reveal. I'm confident that the characters and the story itself will etch their names in cinematic history in the days to come. Bhagavanth Kesari holds secrets that will keep you at the edge of your seat.
