Balakrishna’s ‘Akhanda 2 Thaandavam’ Locks Release Date

Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Boyapati Sreenu’s fourth collaboration, Akhanda 2: Thaandavam, has officially locked its worldwide release date. The much-awaited sequel to the 2021 blockbuster Akhanda will hit the big screens on December 5, 2025.

The film, currently in the final stages of post-production, was initially planned for release today. However, the makers decided to postpone the date to avoid a clash with Pawan Kalyan’s OG, which is now running successfully in theaters. With OG storming the box office, the team behind Akhanda 2 strategically finalized its new date to ensure a grand solo release.

Promotions for the film are set to begin next month, with the makers planning large-scale campaigns to capitalize on Balakrishna’s immense fan base. Expectations are sky-high as Akhanda 2 promises to elevate the action and spiritual grandeur of the first installment.

Starring Balakrishna in dual roles, the action-packed devotional drama also features Pragya Jaiswal, Samyuktha, and Aadi Pinishetty, with music composed by Thaman S. Produced under the prestigious 14 Reels Plus banner, the film is poised to be one of the biggest releases of the year-end season.
