Actor Bala, who is popular in Kollywood with films such as 'Kadhal Kisu Kisu', 'Anbu' and 'Manjal Veyyil', later went on to become a bankable actor in Mollywood. He is now all set to venture into direction, by wielding the megaphone for a Malayalam movie.

Titled 'Hit List', the film has Prithviraj making a guest appearance. Kannada actor Dhruv and Aishwarya Devan play pivotal roles in the movie. It is being produced by Bala's home banner.

I am working 24x7 on the project. Trust me, these days I only sleep for three hours a day, says Bala, adding: I am sure that the film would be a milestone in my career and would announce my arrival as a director.

Bala has acted in 40 movies in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. Directing a film doesn't mean that I will not act henceforth. Acting is my passion and it has given me financial stability and a celebrity status, he signs off.
