Kurnool has been viewed as a good omen by the film industry ever since the days of Premante Idera and Samarasimha Reddy. Tollywood's affair with the town continued with top actors like Balakrishna, Mahesh Babu (Okkadu), Venkatesh (Subash Chandra Bose) and others making it a point to shoot in and place sorrounding Kurnool in the past.

A crucial schedule of Adhinayakudu is being shot in Kurnool. Directed by Paruchuri Murali and produced by ML Kumar Choudary on the banner of Sri Keerthi Combines, the film has Charmi, Saloni and Lakshmi Rai playing the female leads.

Though described as a working title, it is deemed to be the final title. The Kurnool schedule is the third one.

Meanwhile, Balakrishna's fans await the release of Sri Rama Rajyam, which is scheduled for a release on November 20.
