Ban on Seethakaathi release? Producer clarifies

Vijay Sethupathi’s Seethakaathi, which has been lined up for its release on December 20, will be releasing without any constraints as scheduled earlier. The news was confirmed by the producer Sudhan Sundaram himself. “There is an issue in regard to the title and it will be sorted out any time from now on. Meanwhile, certain vested interests are circulating false propaganda that the release is disturbed. It is absolutely baseless and I assure the audience a film will have a smooth release and it will cater to the masses and classes alike,” he reported.

Seethakaathi, which happens to be Vijay Sethupathi’s 25th movie, is eagerly anticipated by his fans.
