Bandla Ganesh can't contest, that's why he withdrew: Producer

Tollywood's most contentious elections are taking place right now. The Movie Artists Association is headed for a big contest between Manchu Vishnu and Prakash Raj on October 10. One of them is going to lead MAA after winning the Presidential contest.

The other day, producer Bandla Ganesh withdrew from the contest as a General Secretary aspirant. He said that he has patched up with Prakash Raj on the advice of his friends and well-wishers. However, producer Yalamanchili Ravi Chandar today claimed that Ganesh withdrew the nomination because he has been disqualified to contest the elections by MAA.

Ganesh is a member of some other body as well and that's why he can't contest MAA elections because dual membership is not allowed. An exclusive member of MAA is eligible to contest the elections. Ganesh is a member of the Producers Council and that's why he can't contest in MAA elections, he added.

Earlier today, CVL Narasimha Rao withdrew from the Presidential race citing no reason in particular. He hasn't supported any camp.
