Banerjee to be feted with Jandhyala Memorial Award

Famous film artist Banerjee will be feted with the Jandhyala Memorial Award on Sunday. Sumadhura Kala Niketan has announced the award in Vijayawada.
The talented artist has done supporting and antagonist roles in several big-ticket films. 'Gaayam', 'Malleeswari', 'Shankardada MBBS', 'Kick', 'Mr. Perfect', 'Janatha Garage' and 'Rangasthalam', among others, are some of his well-known movies.
The Vijayawada-born actor entered the industry with the aim of becoming an assistant director. He eventually became an actor. Known for his hard roles, he is also good when it comes to comic timing. Banerjee has worked in the Telugu film industry for more than 30 years now.
