Tamanna debuted in Telugu screens with the film 'Sri' starring Manoj as hero. Though the film did not reap the expected results the actress had been roped in as heroine for Shekhar Kammula's 'Happy Days' which worked at the box office and brought her the necessary recognition.

Balakrishna to film action scenes in Hyderabad

The yet-to-be-titled film starring Balakrishna and Priyamani as the lead pair has moved to Hyderabad canning action sequences in the city. The film introduces Mahadev (an earlier associate of Rajamouli) as director. Sivalenka Krishna Prasad who made 'Adithya 369' and 'Vamshanikokkadu' is producing this big budget film on the Vaishnav Cinema banner.

'Arundhathi' release delayed by a day

The much awaited film 'Arundhathi' stars Anushka in a predominantly heroine centric role. The film was expected to be released on Sankrathi but then the thinktank behind the film declared it will release on the 15th. According to reports coming in now the film's release has been postponed by one more day.
