Barbershops to start functioning from April 20

After the lockdown ends, the longest queues would be outside barber's shops and saloons. Well, here's happy news for all Keralites who have been waiting for a haircut. As the active COVID-19 cases had declined in the last week, Kerala's coronavirus curve has started to flatten. Due to this, the Kerala government on Thursday decided to relax the lockdown norms provided that all safety measured and guidelines are followed.

Evaluating the extent of coronavirus spread, it was officially announced that barbershops can be opened on all Saturdays and Sundays after April 20. However, this relaxation is not applicable to beauty parlours. The announcement also stressed that social distancing standards, as well as disinfectant and mask requirements, will continue to be enforced.
