Thalapathy Vijay is starring in the action film 'Beast' under the direction of Nelson Dilipkumar of Kolamaavu Kokila fame. Famous Tollywood actress Pooja Hegde is pairing with the star in this flick produced by Kalanithi Maran of Sun Pictures.

Beast also features Yogi Babu, Shine Tom Chacko, VTV Ganesh, Aparna Das, and Pugazh in supporting roles. The film's music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, whilst cinematography was handled by Manoj Paramahamsa and editing done by R. Nirmal, respectively.

Some part of the movie is to be filmed in Georgia. The first two schedules of the filming are over. The second schedule happened in Chennai. The team dropped the first look posters on the eve of Thalapathy Vijay's birthday.
