'Bhama Kalapam' Teaser: A 'dangerous' housewife and a curious crime

'Bhama Kalapam' is an up-and-coming web original to be streamed on Aha. Bharat Kamma of 'Dear Comrade' fame is its show-runner. Its teaser is out.
To be streamed on Aha from February 11, the web film has Priyamani as a housewife named Anupama. She is always comically curious about others' lives and this frustrates her husband. A murder takes place in the housing complex where she lives. What are the consequences of it?
The teaser invites her to peek into the life of Anupama, who otherwise is busy peeking into others' lives. This is Priyamani's rare OTT appearance and one feels the 'Narappa' actress has nailed it.
Helmed by Abhimanyu Tadimeti, the film is a comedy thriller where a crime investigation is a key track. With music by Justin Prabhakaran, the web original has cinematography by Deepak Yeragera and editing by Viplav Nyshadam. Mark K Robin has composed the BGM. With dialogues by Jay Krishna, its art direction is by Kiran Mamidi. KNR aka Nikhil has composed the action blocks. Krishna Kanth has penned the lyrics.
