Kanal Kannan is one of the highly respected and senior stunt directors in south India. He has choreographed many breath taking stunt sequences featuring the likes of Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Vikram, Vijay, Ajith and Suriya. He has also done some cameos in many films.

Now, the stunt master is poised to become the Tamil version of Jackie Chan… a rollickingly funny, action star who has worked his way up from stuntman.

He has done the lead role in ‘Satrumun Kidaitha Thagaval’, directed by Thakkali C. Srinivasan. The movie has Bharathi, ‘Ammuvagiya Naan’ fame, in female lead role. Sriman, Livingstone, Kausalya, Sethu among many others have done important roles.

Thakkali C Srinivasan is known for his passion for making thriller movies. He has many successful ventures like Nalaya Manithan, Manasukkul Mattapu, Jenma Nakshatiram, and Ashokavanum to his credit. He is directing a Tamil film after a short break.

The audio of the movie will be released on Thursday (24.01.2008) evening in Chennai.

S Baskar Produces the movie under the banner of Air Media Technologies Pvt. Ltd. This is their maiden venture. The movie is expected to be released by February.
