Bharathiraja heaps laurels on Yuvan

Yuvan Shankar Raja received accolades from veteran director Bharathiraja. The latter listened to Yuvan's musical score in Paruthi Veeran and was highly impressed.

Elated after listening to the songs which has rural flavour spread all through, Bharathiraja said, “It has mesmerizing lyrics and touching tunes. He has kept his father's (Ilayaraja) reputation intact.”

Bharathiraja and Ilayaraja have worked together in several films that were set around villages.

“A young guy who has not been to any village has come out with such scintillating earthy tunes and it is truly brilliant,” he added.
