Bharat's film as Monagadu

It was in 2008 that Bharath, Poorna's Muniyandi Vilangyial Moonramandu was released. Three years later, Tamatam Kumar Reddy is bringing the film in Telugu. Titled Monagadu, the film is about how Bharath falls in love with the heroine, but the latter comes to publicly declaim that she never loved him.

“The film takes place in village backdrop. Bharath will get as much recognition in Telugu after this film as he got after Premisthe. Sematapakai fame Poorna is the heroine. The film is currently in dubbing stage. The film will be released in the last leg of November,” the producer said.

Directed by Thirumagan and music-directed by Vidya Sagar, the film has a caste angle to the story. Above all, there are some typical Tamil film eccentricities like the hero beating the heroine with a slipper.

There is a macabre twist and a suspense element in the story.
