Director Siddique is remaking his Malayalam super hit 'Bhaskar The Rascal' as 'Bhaskar Oru Rascal' in Tamil. Mammootty and Nayanthara in the original have been replaced by Arvind Swamy and Amala Paul in the remake. 'Theri' fame Baby Nainika is acting as Amala's daughter in the film. The remaining supporting cast includes Soori, Robo Shankar. Ramesh Khanna and others.
The shooting is currently progressing at a rapid pace. The makers are planning to shoot the film in Cochin, Chennai and Kolkata.
The latest update we learn is that the makers are planning to release the film in September 2017 and are working hard to achieve that target.
