Music composer Vijay Antony is now one of the most successful heroes in Kollywood with four consecutive hits. His latest film Pichaikkaran (Bicchagadu in Telugu) has emerged as a genuine super hit of the year and has completed a remarkable 100 day run at the box office.

Official sources confirm that the Telugu version is performing quite well at the BO. This humble release has had an increase in the number of theatres.

The fact that this film with plenty of emotional and sentimental content has to compete with many big films and still excel speaks volume about the intensity of the success. It is worth noting that the film released in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana only a week before the biggie Mahesh Babu starrer 'Brahmotsavam'.

"I owe this success to my Director Sasi sir and my distributor Lakshman. His courage on releasing this film against a massive film, pinning hopes on the content has been the biggest plus factor. I`m indeed excited to be termed as a hero who can command commercial respect in two languages at the same time.
