Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor, who were last seen together in Shashi Kapoor's directorial venture Ajooba, will be sharing screen space after almost 25 years in filmmaker Sudhir Mishra’s next directorial - a news that had been rounds for quite sometime now.

The film that has been now titled as ‘Pehle Aap Janab’ is a heart-warming story written by Mishra with loving eccentricities of two best friends who are rivals in love, rooted in the old world charm of Lucknow. A light hearted romantic drama, the film has Chitraganda Singh as the leading lady.

Incidentally, the film was earlier titled ‘Mehrunissa’, but now it has been renamed ‘Pehle Aap Janab’ and the plot has also changed from being a woman-centric one to a story of two friends.

Produced by Shahnaab Alam and Sudhir Mishra, the film is all set to go on the floors soon.

Shahnaab says, "We are still putting together the logistics of the film and its production, which will begin this year itself." Since the plot has been changed, the script will have to be rewritten and shooting will start soon.

The music of the film is given by Indian Ocean. For the songs Indian Ocean will collaborate with leading musicians like Shanker Mahadevan, Vishal Dadlani, Prittam Chakraborty and Aadesh Shrivastav.
