Big B prays for Bal Thackrey

Since yesterday night the Shiv Sena chief Mr Thackeray, 86, is on life support at his Bandra bungalow Matoshree and is in very critical condition.. Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek where the first among the Indian film industry who visited the legendary figure in Maharashtra politics immediately after hearing the news.. Amitabh Bachchan has tweeted: T 932 - Balasaheb Thackeray : a fighter all his life, fights his life !! Prayers needed now !

Big B and Bal Thackrey share a 20 years strong relationship … Big B was even injured and his kurta torn as he and Abhishek fought their way through the gathered crowd of Sena workers. Says Big B in his tweet, “Yes both Abhishek and me were injured with cuts, but are fine and back home ... the doctors at 'Matoshree' attended on us !

The relationship traces long back when Big B met with a fatal accident during the shooting of Coolie in 1982.. Bal Thackeray had visited Amitabh Bachchan in hospital remembering the incident Mr Bachchan tweeted: T 932 - When I fought for my life after 'Coolie' accident, he came to visit me in hospital, with a cartoon he had drawn - Yamraj defeated !

T 932 - Yamraj - God of Death, defeated by me..wish I was as proficient a cartoonist as he, for tonight I would wish to draw that for him !

Before that when Big B got married with Jaya, Bala Saheb called him at his residence and did the traditional rituals doe when a newlywed visits friends, family house..

Prayers are flowing in from all corners for Bala Sahaeb as Sanjay Dutt, Nana Patekar are visiting the ailing veteran leader as this reports gets filed..
