BIG! BJP suspends Raja Singh

BJP MLA T Raja Singh has been facing flak for making alleged offensive remarks against Prophet Mohammad on Monday. Instant protests and demonstrations weld held in parts of Hyderabad, with thousands of Muslims participating in them. On Tuesday morning, the Hyderabad police took Singh into custody.
The news is that, a while ago, the BJP suspended Singh over the controversial remarks. You have expressed views that are contrary to the position of the party on various matters, which is in clear violation of the Constitution of the BJP. I have been directed to convey to you that, pending further inquiry, you are suspended from the party and from your responsibilities if any, with immediate effect, says a letter shot off to Singh by the Central Disciplinary Committee.
The letter also asks the Goshamahal MLA to tell the party why he shouldn't be expelled from the party. He has to give an answer within 10 days.
The suspension is reminiscent of the expulsion of Nupur Sharma by the BJP recently.
