BIG Blunder?: Thousands of migrants gather at Ramlila Ground

Scary visuals are pouring in from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Thousands of migrant workers on Monday gathered at the famous Ramlila Ground to enroll themselves for Shramik trains and buses to reach their places in the State.
The crowds reportedly gathered after the district administration announced that those wishing to reach their hometowns must register themselves first. People came at 2 AM, but crowds became too large to maintain distancing, lines broke. Finally, the police came and tried to bring order, but anxious migrants won't go back, will wait for bus indefinitely, journalist Smita Prakash reported.
The incident has given rise to fears that UP might see a surge in Covid-19 cases in the coming days because of what happened today. Is this going to cost too much and become a big blunder?
