Big! Pooja Hegde to debut at Cannes Film Festival

Pan-India star actress Pooja Hegde has a new feather in her cap. The beauty of 'Maharshi' and 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' will be making a debut at Cannes Film Festival later this month.
It's learned that the gorgeous lady, who was recently seen in 'Radhe Shyam', 'Beast' and 'Acharya', will be flying to France on May 16. In the following two days, she will make her presence felt at the prestigious festival, walking the coveted red carpet and interacting with fellow guests.
The actress, known for hits in both Telugu and Hindi, will also be gracing an after-party event. The ceremony will host some of the most celebrated actors worldwide, a source says.
The beauty is elated and honoured to get the invite. She is now firmly in the league of Bollywood superstars of the past and present (read Deepika Padukone, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kangana Ranaut, and Priyanka Chopra) in terms of making it to the Cannes.
As a lover of cinema, Pooja is proud that the festival will see the Indian cinema being represented. As someone who is a pan-India star, she is thrilled about it.
In fact, the actress is the first female pan-India star to make it to the festival.
The actress will be shooting for Mahesh Babu's 28th film later this year. In Hindi, she has got 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali' with Salman Khan and 'Cirkus' with Rohit Shetty.
