Directed by Saran and produced by Vijayam Cine Combines, Attagasam remains one of Ajith’s most celebrated films, where he stunned audiences with a powerful dual role as Guru and Jeeva. The stellar supporting cast included Pooja, Sujatha, Babu Antony, Mahadevan, Nizhalgal Ravi, Ramesh Khanna, Ilavarasu, and many others. With memorable music by Bharadwaj, the film was a massive commercial and critical success upon its original release.

With Ajith’s latest film Good Bad Ugly released in April 2025 and his next project AK62 delayed due to his intensive car racing training, the announcement of Attagasam’s re-release has sent fans into celebration mode.
