Vivek asks Cheran to follow Ajith and Vijays advice

Director Cheran after several years came back into the limelight through the 'Bigg Boss 3' show hosted by Kamal Haasan in which he was awarded the most disciplined contestant apart from also showing considerable staying power for the better part of three months. After the show, Cheran has become active on social media and today has posted strongly worded messages against cyberbullying and hate-mongering.

The rough translation of Cheran's post reads "There are culprits who use fake identities on social media and attempt to hurt and destroy others on social media. They should stop it and realize that wounding a person mentally is also a big crime. The internet is used by the public and has a large presence of women and in spite of that obscene posts and videos are being circulated by faceless and nameless persons and the government should deal with them with the iron hand of the law. I condemn those who do not consider the years of efforts and social service of politicians and actors and abuse them on the public platforms. It is a crime to hurt a person in any way and more so by using the social network using unparliamentary words and images and those possessed by the demon doing this are condemnable.'

Actor Vivek has responded to Cheran's laments by advising him to continue to post hygienic messages and ignore the negativity pointing out that vehicles dont stop for dogs barking. The 'Vellai Pookkal' star then praised Cheran that he is a socially conscious National Award-Winning Filmmaker and should follow Vijay's motto of "Ignore negativity" and Ajith's example of "Let Go" and continue to do his work happily and peacefully.
