The end of the third week of the reality show Bigg Boss Season 3 saw the exit of the controversial contestant Vanitha Vijayakumar. Post her eviction, Vanitha opened up on the happenings inside the house and talked about the various controversies and the events that led them to it.

When the topic of the arrogance and domination she exhibited in the show came up, Vanitha stated that as a single woman, a mother, and a powerful woman in the society, she needed to be arrogant to keep the men with the wrong intentions away from her. She added that she was "proud" of the fact that she had no #MeToo stories to share as she protected herself so well that men feared to approach her that way. Quoting an instance from the house, Vanitha said that she had already warned Sakshi of her extreme closeness with Kavin.

Justifying her stance while being questioned if it was the victim's fault that they were being approached by sexual predators, Vanitha said that it most certainly not the victim's fault, nor was she defending the men, but that one should make it clear with their activities that they cannot be approached with a bad intention.
