We broke the news first to you that Simbu is replacing Kamal Haasan as the host of 'Bigg Boss Ultimate'. Disney Plus Hotstar has just confirmed the same by releasing the first promo of the younger hero's entry.

The promo has build up shots of Simbu wearing his coat, adjusting his bracelet and tying his shoe laces before revealing his face. He then looks into the camera with a wink saying "You didnt expect this right?...I too didnt...Shall we watch?".

Kamal Haasan who has hosted five seasons of 'Bigg Boss' also hosted the first edition of 'Bigg Boss Ultimate' but had to quit due to date clashes with his 'Vikram' movie directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. It has long been rumoured that Simbu would be replacing the Ulaganayagan and finally that has come true.

Fans are eager to see Simbu in his new avatar as host of a reality show and many are posting on social media that he will be attracting a large number of youth and family audiences. His debut episode will be aired this weekend when an eviction will take place.
