Biopic on late Jayalalitha announced in style

For a few months now there has been news about a biopic on former chief minister Jayalalitha and many actresses including Trisha have expressed their interest in playing the iron lady on screen.
Finally, someone has announced a biopic. Kollywood director Vijay of Ajith's 'Kreedam' and Vijay's 'Thalaivaa' fame has been signed on to direct this prestigious venture. The project will be produced by Vibri Media, the company behind Krish-Balakrishna's 'NTR' and Kapil Dev's biopic '83'.
The Jayalalitha biopic will be launched on her birthday 24th February 2019 and the cast will reportedly have a mix of Bollywood and South Indian stars. Names like Vidya Balan and Nayanthara are being heard in the context of the film. But nothing is official.
