Biopic on Velupillai Prabhakaran announced

A biopic on Velupillai Prabhakaran has been announced to be produced by Studio 18 and directed by Venkatesh Kumar G which will go on floors in April this year. The team had already produced films ‘Unakkul Naan’ (2015), ‘Lightman’ ( 2016) and the banned ‘Neelam’ (2017).
Prabhakaran, hailed as a great Tamil leader founded the Liberation Tigers of Tami Eelam (LTTE) and fought for an independant Tamil state in Sri Lanka. He is known for being a great military tactician and his life and times will be captured authentically in the film according to the team.
