Biriyani

Thursday, January 1, 1970 • Telugu Comments

Going by Karthi, the hero of the film, the movie is a realistic portrayal of a thriller and romance between him and Hansika is going to be at a love-hate level, nothing real romance. So, 'Biryani' could be the perfect order from a menu that is filled with nonsensical films with limitless action, countless number of songs and comedy that is trying hard to make you laugh. 'Biryani' could be the movie you are waiting for if you are a sensible, simple and thinking filmgoer.

Hansika's first outing after she has reduced in weight, so, this could give you a sexier and organized look of her. In the character of a playboy, Karthi could be just your idea of a hero, still struggling and facing hardships like a common man.

What encourages is the name of the director Venkat Prabhu, who has earlier dished out super thrillers like Saroja and Mankatha. His dexterity in handling thriller genre is quite on the money and Karthi being a great raw material to work with, this promises a spicy Biryani indeed. Add to that Yuvan Shankar raja's music, you have an edge of the seat experience on cards.

However, there have been cases when promises from Tamil movies turned out to be damp squibs and you can still consider the idea of watching this film with caution and wait for a review or two to check it out yourselves.
