Well-known TV personality Bittiri Sathi has contracted coronavirus. The news came out on Saturday.

The host of Sakshi TV's satirical show 'Garam Garam' is reportedly isolating himself at his home.

The comedian was in the news in July after he resigned from TV9 and joined Sakshi TV after developing irreconcilable differences with the management of the channel. During a show on TV9, on Father's Day, he happened to show his father's footage. This had no approval of the management. When the latter asked him for an explanation, Sathi felt slighted and left the channel.

In recent weeks, actress Navya Sharma and a few others related to the TV industry contracted the virus. Most of them have recovered already.
