Remember the top cop Hemant Karkare, who was killed in action by Pakistani terrorists during the dastardly 26/11 attacks on Mumbai way back in 2008? When Karkare died, the entire nation grieved. He was feted widely.

Cut to 2019, BJP's Bhopal MP candidate Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur is in the news for describing Karkare as an anti-national who was against religion (read Hinduism). It was he who investigated the 2008 Malegaon blasts. The investigation led to the arrest of Sadhvi Pragya. "When he tortured me, I cursed him. I told him he will be eliminated. And that's what happened just two months later," Sadhvi today said in the presence of some BJP leaders from Madhya Pradesh.

Her nasty comments have put her in a spot. Even her party should be embarrassed. Karkare was killed while trying to save Indians. To feel joyful about the death of such a hero is obnoxious.
