BJP takes severe action against S.Ve. Sekhar

Veteran comedy actor S.Ve. Sekhar courted trouble by sharing on facebook a damaging post about female journalists. The journalist's association lodged a police complaint and S.Ve. Sekhar has since absonded. He had sought anticipatory bail in the Madras High Court as well as the Supreme Court but it was denied and he was asked to appear in the Egmore court.
The Tamil Nadu BJP chief Tamizhisai Soundarajan speaking to newsmen at the Chennai Airport today informed that S.Ve. Sekhar has been relieved of all the party posts held by him. According to political analysts this is a huge setback for Sekhar who hoped that his party would back him in these stressful times.
