A youngster named R.Antony Thomas has been alleging that director Lakshman has stolen his story for the film Bogan` which is being directed by Lakshman with Jayam Ravi, Hansika and Arvind Swamy in prominent roles. The film is being produced by Dr.K.Ganesh under the Prabhu Deva Studios banner.

Thomas has also alleged that the makers of Bogan` have physically attacked him causing serious injuries and filed a separate police complaint for that.

Today director Lakshman haslodged a complaint against Antony Thomas with the Chennai City Police Commissioner. Here is the gist of Lakshmanan`s complaint:

"Anthony Thomas had first approached the South Indian Film Chamber alleging that I have stolen his story to make the film Bogan`. After conducting an inquiry with me, the chamber decided that both the parties have written the story in their own style.

Six months ago, Antony Thomas has filed a case against me, the film`s producer and three more persons on the same charge. We have duly submitted our replies and the case is still pending in the Court. He has also filed a false complaint against me in Koyambedu Police Station. However since he has already filed a case in the Court, the concerned Police officers have asked him to find remedy through the Court itself.

However Antony Thomas continues filing false complaint against me and my producer in various police stations. He is also spreading false messages in social media platforms about our film with the ill intention of causing defame and distress to us . He does all these to cause mental stress and extract money from us.

Hence I request the Police to take action against him and stop him from spreading wrong messages about me and my film in social media and his filing of false complaints. "
