Kamal Haasan has once again proved that he is a politically-incorrect and unafraid actor. He was perhaps the first superstar to forcefully say that those opposing Jallikattu would do well to give up biryani first. This bold statement of his has been quoted widely in social media.
Once again supporting the people of Tamil Nadu on Jallikattu issue, he has tweeted that they are making India proud. Not stopping at this, he has taken oblique potshots at partisan TV channels. "Remember each party has a TV channel in TN to bias news. Glean your wisdom. Keep non-violence intact. You will win. This movement is of the people. I still feel celebrities should only support and not steal the show. I watch news just to watch my people gathered all around TN. Moved to tears. Thanks. You are no more students you are now teachers. I am a fan," he said.
