Playing cameos in movies is trending and everyone is Bollywood is following it. Cameo appearances are designed to give audiences special little surprises. But sometimes they are so small; viewers can miss them entirely. Here are 5 actors that played cameos and then did feature films.

Salman Khan - Not many people know that Salman Khan made his first on screen appearance in the movie 'Biwi Ho Toh Aisi' and later he did his debut performance in the feature film 'Maine Pyaar Kiya'. Bhaijaan is still seen in many movies giving special appearances and supporting them.

Karan Johar - The famous director who made his debut in the feature film 'Bombay Velvet' has also done many cameos even before he started directing films. His first cameo was in the movie 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge' where he plays Shah Rukh Khan's friend, he was also an assistant director for the movie.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui - We all know by now that Nawazuddin Siddiqui is a gem of Bollywood that has struggled his way to the top. Before bagging a full fledge role in wasseypur Nawazuddin was seen in many movies doing cameos. His very first cameo was in Amir Khan's 'Sarfarosh' in 1999 and rest is history.

Vicky Kaushal - The young actor made his debut in 2015 with the internationally award winning movie 'Masaan' but his first ever appearance was in the multi starrer film 'Bombay Velvet'. Vicky is set to release three movies this year.

Vikrant Massey - A known face in television is making his way into Bollywood. He started off with a cameo in 'Lootera' with Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha in 2013. He will be seen in the directorial debut film of Konkana Sen Sharma playing the lead role opposite Kalki Koechlin.
