In a phenomenal achievement for Pan India star Prabhas, his latest action entertainer, Salaar, has set the box office ablaze, smashing records within just two days of its release, amassing a staggering Rs 300 crores worldwide. Directed by the acclaimed Prashanth Neel of KGF fame, the film's first part, Salaar-Ceasefire, hit theaters on December 22, 2023, marking the beginning of a cinematic saga set to unfold in two parts.

Audiences have been captivated by Prashanth Neel's direction, skillfully showcasing Prabhas in a role that elevates heroism to its zenith on the grand canvas of the silver screen. The movie's high-octane and intense action sequences have left movie lovers in awe, solidifying Prabhas's reputation as a powerhouse performer.

However, amidst the overwhelming praise, Bollywood actress Payal Ghosh took to Twitter to express her dissenting opinion. In a controversial tweet, she remarked, "The movies released in 2023 are unwatchable. All the worst movies are coming. Dunki and Salaar are also the worst. For the first time in his career, Rajkumar Hirani made a flop film. Dunky and Salaar are two worst movies. But Salaar movie will get huge collections. Because Prabhas is a young and powerful person."

Despite Payal's critical stance, the majority of the audience seems undeterred, with many dismissing her comments as an attempt to gain attention in light of perceived career challenges. Some social media users have even speculated that her statements stem from a lack of opportunities in the industry.

Meanwhile, Salaar continues to dominate the box office, fueled by Prabhas's immense popularity and a dedicated fan following. The controversy surrounding the film has only added to its allure, turning it into a must-watch cinematic event of the year. As the Salaar saga unfolds, it remains to be seen whether the second part will further solidify its place in the annals of Indian cinema. Payal also branded Animal, Pathaan and Jawan also the most bad films and overrated and the makers are fooling the people.
