Bollywood is watching for hits in Telugu: Ravi Teja

Ravi Teja can be proud of the fact that his films, viz., Vikramarkudu, Badra and Don Seenu, are either being remade or will be remade in Bollywood. The actor, therefore, has every reason to feel that Bollywood is watching for hit movies in Telugu. He informs that Sanjay Dutt's wife, Manyata, has bought the remake rights of Telugu movies wholesale. This is the season of remakes in Bollywood, and the inspiration is, for the first time in two decades, Tollywood, not Kollywood.

The actor with a knack for speaking honestly and frankly says that he doesn't believe in advertising about his films. My films shall do the talking, he shoots back. The soon-to-be-released is a film that entertains like all Ravi Teja's films, but it has a heavy stamp of Gunasekhar on it.

The world knows pretty well that Ravi Teja, Gunasekhar and YVS are great buddies in real life. Nobody knows it better than RT that Guna and YVS are both obstinate and never make compromises. This has helped the product. Nippu has come out extraordinarily well.

In Nippu, RT is seen in a very interesting role. Like all heroes of Guna, he sets forth with an aim in mind. The title very aptly describes his fiery nature in the movie. For all their friendship, it was not the personal relationship that made them go for making the film. We did not make Nippu for the sake of making one movie. We made it because we had a good story in our hands, he signs off.
