If you are thinking that Devudu Chesina Manushulu is all about humans and that the divine is only there as a metaphorical creature, you are wrong. For the film boasts of two divine characters, played by Brahmanandam and Kovai Sarala, long the much-loved pair. They are playing Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi in this Puri Jagannadh flick.

The film's fantastic element is not be taken to mean that it is like those countless Lord Yama films. There is certainly no transmigration to the abode of the Preserver here. We may expect some funny dialogues between Brahmi and Kovai, who would be overseeing the affairs of Prakash Raj, Ravi Teja and Illeana. Will the Divines play the role of saving the good pair from the villain?

It will be interesting to see PJ's characterization of God. The element does come across as very crucial to the film much as the title suggests. May Brahmi and Kovai make us convulsing with laughter!

The film is slated to release on July 20.
