Football legend Maradona undergoes brain surgery!

Days after it was reported that legendary football player Diego Maradona had been hospitalized, now it has been revealed that the Argentine football great has underwent successful brain surgery on a blood clot.

It was announced by his doctor that Maradona underwent surgery yesterday night. Doctor Leopoldo Luque revealed at the private clinic in Buenos Aires that the medical team was successfully able to remove the clot.

Diego Maradona has coped well with the surgery, and the brain is under control, though there was a little blood drainage, and the footballer will remain under observation, said doctors. Maradona had went to the hospital in La Plate on Monday after falling ill.
