Breaking! No Shikhar Dhawan for 3 weeks in World Cup

In what has come as a piece of shocking news to cricket fans, Shikhar Dhawan has been ruled out of the ongoing World Cup for three weeks. It's because of the thumb fracture that he suffered during the recent match against Australia.

Dhawan's injury-induced rest has come as a jolt for Team India. He has been one of the biggest pillars of strength in this world cup, having scored a century against Australia.

After the unfortunate injury, Dhawan couldn't play the second innings of the Australia match. Ravindra Jadeja was fielded as a replacement.

Rishab Pant is likely to get a chance now.
