Harris Jayaraj here gets to score songs in different musical genres and he doesn't disappoint.  The lead actors and the set-up of the film demanded a snazzy output, while the story needed a portrayal of emotions.

The songs are definitely lengthy.  Backed by a young team of lyricists and singers, Harris has dished out an interesting treat to the fans.

Rendai Thirigae    Listen here

Artists: Krish, MK Balaji, Mili Nair
Lyricist: Chandrabose

Thematically and lyrically, the song is reminiscent of the many friendship songs we have heard for decades now.  Harris Jayaraj peppers it with Mili Nair's vocals.  The voices of Krish and MK Balaji easily come with Kollywoodian crooning.  Chandrabose's figurative words entertain.

Rani Nanni   Listen here

Artists: Franco, Aalap Raju, Charulatha Mani
Lyricist: Vanamali

The lyrics are interesting in that they intersperse the romantic ring with emotions of the heart.  Vanamali's intelligence is on the display.  Harris begins the song like a breeze, only to take it to an emotional high in the later half.  Franco and Aalap have good vocals, while Charulatha Mani's mellifluous voice is soothing.

Neeve Neevelae   Listen here

Artists: Franco, Aalap Raju, Charulatha Mani
Lyricist: Vanamali

The song has characteristic lascivious lyrics by Vanamali.  The vocals are alright, though it would be clear to anyone that the music is Tamil.

Evaro Nenevaro   Listen here

Artists: Karthik, Priya Himesh
Lyricist: Chandrabose

The song has a melancholic mood.  Typical of Chandrabose's lyrics, its language is simple but succeeds in connecting with the character's emotions.  Harris Jayaraj's music is a throwback to the tragedies of the bygone era.  Karthik is at his usual best.

Kommalani   Listen here

Artists: Javed Ali, Mahalakshmi Iyer
Lyricist: Vanamali

The song is very catchy. Indeed an energetic and peppy number, the song sticks to our ears in the first listen itself with wonderful vocals by Javed Ali and Mahalakshmi. Vanamali's lyrics are interesting.
