Burra Katha to lead off 'Gautamiputra Satakarni'

  • IndiaGlitz, [Monday,November 28 2016]

It's known that Shiva Rajkumar, the Sandalwood superstar, is playing a part in 'Gautamiputra Satakarni'.

As for the role, he is reportedly playing a 'burra katha' exponent who heralds the arrival of Balakrishna's character. Looks like the oral storytelling technique is being leveraged to elevate the Emperor's character in the historical. Since every Telugu can relate to this tradition, expect the audience to appreciate both the concept and the theme of showering encomiums on the Satavahana legend.

The audio will be released in Tirupathi on Dec 16. But before that, expect Balayya to shake the records with trailer, come Dec 9.
