Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy to join TDP

Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy, a prominent political name in Kurnool district, is all set to join the TDP. It was with this party that he stayed for many years before leaving it in the run-up to the State's bifurcation in 2013. Byreddy later formed a political party to fight for the rights of the Rayalaseema people. Later on, he joined the Congress.
Ahead of the 2019 elections, he is reportedly in talks to jump from Congress to TDP. Budda Rajasekhar Reddy had on Monday said that he won't be contesting the elections this time. Byreddy, thus, is keen to contest from Budda's Srisailam.
The TDP high command is considering Byreddy's request. If it feels that he has winnability, Byreddy would be in.
