Cameraman recorded video during Maoist attack

It's known that a Doordarshan video journalist and two policemen were recently killed in a Maoist attack in Chattisgarh's Dantewada. It now emerges that Mormukut Sharma, a lighting assistant with DD, recorded a video during the Maoist attack.
When the Maoist attack started, Sharma hid behind the bushes and recorded an address to his mother. He said that he had no hope that he will survive the attack. He told his beloved mom that he loves her a lot. I am not scared even though I know I am going to die, he is heard saying in the video.
It's stunning that the man thought of conveying a message to his mother in the middle of an extremist attack.
