The coronavirus pandemic is showing no signs of slowing down as it continues infect people all over the globe with the last count at the time of this writing being 4,269,200 patients with 287,504 deaths so far. It is already common knowledge even to toddlers that the virus attacks the lungs and then spreads through the droplets from one patient to another at a rapid pace.

The question in most people's minds especially the younger ones is whether it is safe to have sex during the COVID 19 period and whether the disease will spread because of the act. Research conducted for two weeks at the Utah University in the US has concluded that there is no evidence of the coronavirus spreading through sex. On the other hand 38 persons infected with coronavirus were subjected to tests by asking them to have sex and the result was pretty shocking.

According to the Chinese research papers the deadly virus was found in the semen of men and the vaginal excretions of women suggesting that the disease is in fact spreading through sex also. Traces of the virus have been found in the semen of some patients even after 31 days of the first testing.

American scientists have a word of caution to the people that it is better to be safe than sorry and avoiding sex with potential COVID 19 patients would be the best thing to do right now.
