Popular actor suffers heart attack in mid air flight to the US

Popular Malayalam and pan Indian actor Captain Raju suffered a heart attack in mid flight and has been hospitalized at KIMS Oman hospital in Muscat where he is in the intensive care unit. Raju on Monday was flying from India to the United States when midway he complained of severe chest pain and the plane made an emergency landing in Muscat.
The 67 year old Captain Raju an ex-military man debuted in Malayalam films and later went on to act with Rajini, Kamal, Sathyaraj and other actors in Tamil as well as Telugu, Hindi and Kannada films. He mainly appeared in villainic roles but also was very effective in character roles as well.
