During the recent flooding Captain Vijayakanth travelled across the state to Cuddalore and Thoothukudi among other places to provide consolation and distributing relief materials to the affected people.
Rumors were doing the rounds that the DMDK supremo had fallen ill due to his hectic schedule, but on Sunday the popular star and leader jumped into action along with his party men and started cleaning the streets. He is not the Puratchi Kalaigniar for nothing isn't he?
