Case against Kamal

Producer Muktha Srinivasan has issued a legal notice to Kamal Haasan, for the latter's remarks about him in an article to mark the 25th year of 'Nayagan'.

Directed by Mani Ratnam with Kamal playing the lead role, 'Nayagan' was produced by Muktha Srinivasan. In the article, Kamal has penned a few things about the producer, which had hurt his feelings.

I am deeply pained by the needless remarks of Kamal. I have lost my sleep ever since I read the article, said Srinivasan, who added that he would file a case against Kamal.

Rated as one of the best movies of Indian cinema, 'Nayagan' revolved around a Tamilian Velu Nayakar, who ruled the roost in Mumbai (then Bombay). Ilayaraja had composed the music.
