Case filed on S J Suryah

The censor - director S J Suryah has taken a turn for the worse. The police have filed a case on the director- producer- hero for hitting a censor official with a cell phone and obstructing govt. officials from doing their duty. A new song shot by Suryah for adding to the film New was given cuts by Chennai censors. The song was then sent to Mumbai for revising committee. After the revising passed the song with few cuts and sent it back to Chennai. Chennai censors gave a few cuts on the lyrics, which enraged the director. Suryah says that he is willing to even sweep the floors of the censor office to get the okay since he spent Rs 25 lakhs for the song.
