Video: Speeding car hits man in bike and drives away

In a case of hit and run, a speeding car in Coimbatore rammed into a man on a bike and drove away without pausing.
CCTV footage of the incident shows the man taking a turn to the road on his left and stopping a moment before the car hits him and speeds away, flinging the man nearly 15 feet from the spot. Even though a few people at the scene tried to stop the car, the driver managed to escape. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital soon after, and he is reportedly in a critical condition right now, with on-going treatment.
The police managed to trace the location of the sedan car driver and arrested him. A case has been booked on the accused under the relevant section of IPC.
